Abstract
Efficient and accurate document management is essential for companies operating in the healthcare administration sector, including PT Administrasi Medika. At present, the manual handling of document splitting, merging, and invoice header claim processing requires considerable time and increases the possibility of human error. These challenges negatively impact operational efficiency and overall productivity. To overcome these issues, this project introduces an automated document-processing solution through the development of an Application Programming Interface (API) using Flask, a lightweight Python-based microframework. The API is designed to simplify workflows, accelerate document processing, and minimize manual involvement. The development process includes requirement analysis, system architecture design, technical implementation, and performance evaluation. Flask is chosen due to its flexibility and proven capability in building lightweight yet reliable web services. The implemented API provides multiple core functions, such as automated document splitting, merging, and structured management of invoice header claims. Performance evaluation results demonstrate significant improvements in processing speed and accuracy while reducing administrative workload. Furthermore, the system is built with scalability in mind, allowing seamless integration with existing systems and future enhancements. This project concludes that a Flask-based API offers an effective and efficient solution for document workflow automation at PT Administrasi Medika. It enhances productivity, improves accuracy, and supports the company’s goal of maintaining competitiveness in the healthcare administration industry.
