Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH), General Allocation Funds (DAU), and Special Allocation Funds (DAK) on economic growth in Java Island during the period 2015–2024. The independent variables in this study consist of DBH, DAU, and DAK, while the dependent variable is regional economic growth. The study employs a quantitative descriptive method, and the data analysis is conducted using panel data regression. The results indicate that Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH) and General Allocation Funds (DAU) have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Java Island, implying that increases in DBH and DAU can stimulate economic activities and enhance regional development capacity. Conversely, the Special Allocation Funds (DAK) show a negative yet significant effect on economic growth, suggesting inefficiencies in the allocation and utilization of these funds.Overall, the findings emphasize that the effectiveness of fiscal transfers largely depends on the ability of local governments to manage financial resources efficiently, transparently, and accountably in order to foster sustainable economic growth at the regional level.
