Abstract
Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from industrial activities are one of the main contributors to global climate change. PT. Accelleron Sakti Indonesia, as a turbocharger company, produces emissions from vehicles and electrical energy from its operations. This research is important to assess the contribution of these emissions, given that the company is located in a dense industrial area and close to the coast. The difficulty of this research lies in accurately measuring emissions from various sources and analyzing their complex environmental impacts. If successfully implemented, the results of this research can form the basis for industrial emission mitigation strategies and contribute to the achievement of national emission reduction targets. The research questions raised include the environmental impact of GHG emissions from the activities of PT. Accelleron Sakti Indonesia, the pattern of emission distribution around the company's area, and the role of mangrove ecosystems as carbon sinks (blue carbon) in emission mitigation. The methods used include emission calculations based on the 2006 IPCC Guidelines (Tier 1 and Tier 2), environmental impact analysis using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), emission dispersion modeling with AERMOD visualized in ArcGIS, and analysis of mangrove carbon sequestration potential using PRIMER 7 software. The results of the study show that the company's total annual emissions are 374,827 kg CO₂-eq, with the largest contribution coming from the electricity sector. The pattern of emission dispersion is concentrated around industrial areas with a dominant direction following the wind pattern. Blue carbon analysis shows that mangrove vegetation is capable of absorbing 864.777 tons of C/ha of emissions, making it a potential mitigation strategy.
