Abstract
PG Djombang Baru is a sugar factory with a capacity of approximately 3,000 TCD that produces SHS sugar. The production process involves milling sugarcane, refining the sap, evaporating, cooking, spinning, and finally finishing the sugar until it is ready for packaging. Quality control is ensured through a series of analytical laboratories to ensure the sugar meets quality standards. Factory utilities include air treatment, a boiler for steam supply, and electrical installations to support smooth operations. Production activities generate solid and liquid waste and air emissions, including hazardous and toxic waste that requires special handling in accordance with environmental regulations.
