Abstract

The availability of drinking water is currently a significant challenge for communities in Indonesia, primarily due to the insufficient provision of clean water services, especially in rural areas. To address this, the government initiated the Community-Based Drinking Water Supply (PAMSIMAS) program, under which Parseh Village received services for drinking water planning. This planning was carried out by observing documents and utilizes deep groundwater (borehole wells) as the raw water source. The analysis projected the service population over a 15-year period. The service population in Parseh Village is 736 people, projected to increase to 867 people over the planning period, resulting in an average water requirement of 0.99 liters/second. Based on hydraulic calculations and simulation using Epanet software, the necessary reservoir dimensions are 2.75 x 2.75 x 2.5 meters, providing a sufficient capacity of 18.89 m³. The required submersible pump for the system is specified with a head of 85.1 meters and a flow rate of 3.6 liters/second to adequately supply the service area's needs
