Abstract

Performance appraisal is an essential factor in human resource management as it serves as the basis for managerial decision-making. This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership, workload, and organizational culture on employee performance, with organizational commitment as a moderating variable. This quantitative research uses primary data collected through a Google Form questionnaire with a Likert scale. The sample consists of 108 contract employees from the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of East Java Province. The analysis includes measurement (outer) and structural (inner) models. The results indicate that transformational leadership and organizational culture positively affect employee performance, while workload has a negative effect. Organizational commitment positively moderates the influence of transformational leadership, workload, and organizational culture on employee performance.
