Abstract
Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) is a plant that belongs to the horticultural type. The use of PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria) and giberellin is one of the efforts to increase okra production. This research aims to identify the best concentration of PGPR and giberellin combination for okra growth and yield. The research was conducted from March to June 2025 at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur. This research is a factorial experiment arranged using the Randomized Block Design (RBD) method with two factorials. The first factor isi PGPR concentration with 4 treatment levels, namely 0 ml/l, 10 ml/l, 15 ml/l, and 20 ml/l. The second factor is giberellin with 4 treatment levels, namely 0 ppm, 100 ppm, 150 ppm, and 200 ppm. The interaction between the two treatments gave a significant effect on plant height and number of flowers. The treatment of PGPR concentration of 20 ml/l gave the best real effect on the parameters of the number of leaves at 28 until 49 days after planting and fruit weight at harvest 1,3, and 5. The treatment of giberellin 200 ppm gave the best real effect on the parameters of the age of the fastest flower appearance which was 35.39 days. Giving PGPR 20 ml/l and giberellin 200 ppm is the best treatment combination to increase the growth and yield of okra.
