Abstract
Surabaya is facing land constraints due to land conversion for residential and industrial use, which has resulted in a reduction in green space, unemployment, and social inequality. Urban farming is a solution to strengthen food security, increase income, and preserve the ecology. This study aims to analyze the environmental, economic, and social aspects of urban farming management and formulate management priorities for three farmer groups, namely the Barokah Farmer Group, the Yurga Farm Farmer Group, and the Wethan Farmer Group. This study uses descriptive frequency analysis to analyze environmental and social aspects, business feasibility analysis for economic aspects, and management priorities using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results show that environmental aspects have the highest sustainability level (85%), the economic aspects of the three farmer groups are financially feasible with an R/C ratio > 1, and social aspects (78.43%). The AHP results placed environmental aspects as the top priority (0.646). These findings confirm that strengthening environmental management is key to the sustainability of urban farming in Surabaya.
