Abstract
Economic growth can also be influenced by the rapid development of the tourism sector. Directly, tourism can increase the demand for consumption of goods and services in tourist areas. Tulungagung Regency is one of several regencies in the southern part of East Java Province that has significant tourism potential. The main objective of this research is to determine the impact of the tourism sector on economic growth in Tulungagung Regency. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tulungagung Regency. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The output of this study shows that the number of tourist attractions, the number of tourists, and the hotel room occupancy rate (TPK) have an impact on the growth of gross regional product (GRP) at current prices in Tulungagung Regency from 1990 to 2024.
