Abstract
This research aims to optimize inventory control of paper and ink raw materials at PT Graphics Prima Sejahtera using the ABC Analysis and Min-Max Stock methods. The ABC method is used to classify raw materials based on consumption value, which produces seven category A items as control priorities. Next, the Min-Max Stock method is applied to determine the minimum and maximum inventory limits as well as the optimal order quantity. The research results show that this method is able to reduce order frequency and safety stock value significantly, as well as produce cost efficiencies of 54% for paper and 25% for ink, respectively. The combination of the two methods has proven to be effective in maintaining the availability of raw materials efficiently and preventing overstocks or stockouts. This research provides strategic recommendations for management in managing inventory in a more structured, adaptive and sustainable manner.
