Abstract
The MBKM Independent Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to gain real work experience in their field of study. This report describes the implementation of internships at the East Java Provincial Industry and Trade Office, focusing on optimizing the National Industrial Information System (SIINas) and efforts to increase the use of domestic products (P3DN). The objectives of the activity are to implement industrial engineering knowledge in the field of industrial administration, deepen understanding of industrial policy, and improve student competence in the public sector. The internship methods included participation in socialization, mentoring, business facilitation, coordination meetings, workshops, focus group discussions, industrial data processing, and the practice of issuing Business Identification Numbers (NIB). The results of the activity showed that students gained a more comprehensive understanding of industrial data management through SIINas, the process of mentoring industry players, and the implementation of P3DN policies. Students also developed analytical, communication, and practical skills to support government performance in the industrial sector. The conclusion drawn is that this internship program effectively improves students' knowledge, skills, and experience in the field of government industry, as well as raises awareness of the importance of digitalization and domestic products in national development.
