Abstract
Farmer groups in Leran Village serve as a forum to improve farmers' skills and knowledge, as well as encourage more efficient and effective agricultural practices. However, there are still challenges in increasing the effectiveness of farmer groups, such as internal management, external support, and access to technology. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of farmer groups in increasing production and analyze the correlation between external group factors, job or task function factors, and external group factors with the effectiveness of farmer groups in Leran Village, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency. The sampling method was purposive sampling with 90 farmers as respondents. Primary data collection was done through interviews with the help of questionnaires. The first objective was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, and the second objective was analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that the effectiveness of farmer groups in Leran Village was influenced by group characteristics, job or task function factors, and external group factors. The group characteristics factor had a high average value indicating good characteristics. The job or task function factor had obstacles in conveying information to farmer group members. External group factors include support from the village head, the community, and the physical environment that support the creation of effective farmer groups. Factors influencing farmer group effectiveness, including group characteristics, job or task function factors, and external group factors, have a significant relationship to farmer group effectiveness in Leran Village.
