Abstract
Educated unemployment has become a significant challenge in East Java Province, which is one of the provinces with the largest population and number of graduates in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth and investment on educated unemployment in East Java Province. The independent variables are economic growth and investment, with inflation used as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was applied using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) method for the period 2007 to 2024. The results indicate that economic growth has a negative and significant effect, while investment has a positive and significant effect. In contrast, inflation does not moderate the effect of economic growth on educated unemployment, nor does it moderate the effect of investment on educated unemployment.
