Abstract
Network monitoring in campus environments is often constrained by built- in monitoring systems that lack early warning and dashboards that are difficult for non-technical users to understand, while commercial solutions generally do not fit within budget constraints. This condition causes disturbances such as router down or traffic spikes to be discovered only after hampering academic activities. Based on these problems, this research aims to implement a network monitoring system using Zabbix integrated with Telegram notifications and a Laravel Filament-based web dashboard to present real-time information with a simpler display. PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize) methodology is used to cover the stages from Zabbix installation, host addition, notification integration, to dashboard development and PDF reports. The implementation results show that the system is able to efficiently monitor device status, CPU and memory usage, DHCP leases, and network traffic, with automatic notifications and data visualization supporting early fault detection, thus improving the effectiveness of network management and providing adaptive solutions for campus infrastructure needs.Network monitoring in campus environments is often constrained by built- in monitoring systems that lack early warning and dashboards that are difficult for non-technical users to understand, while commercial solutions generally do not fit within budget constraints.
