Abstract

Mung beans (Vigna radiata) are a crop cultivated in Indonesia due to their numerous benefits, making mung bean cultivation a profitable prospect. The use of superior varieties can improve production yields, as can the use of additional fertilizers in addition to basic fertilizers. Silica fertilizer is one such fertilizer that has benefits for improving harvest quality, strengthening plant stems, and other purposes. This study used a two-factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The primary factor was the silica dosage (Si0: 0 ml/L; Si1: 1 ml/L; Si2: 2 ml/L; and Si3: 3 ml/L), and the secondary factor was the mung bean variety (V1: Vima-1; V2: Vima-2; and V3: Kutilang). There were 12 treatment combinations, each replicated three times, resulting in 36 experimental units. These combinations were replicated three times, resulting in 108 experimental units. The results showed that the Si2V2 (Silica 2 ml/L + Vima-2) treatment was the best treatment for increasing mung bean yield. Keywords : Mung Beans, Silica, Variety
