Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly impacted operational efficiency across various sectors, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Sri Jaya Keramik is a building materials store that still relies on manual record-keeping in its daily operations. This leads to several issues, such as difficulties in real-time inventory tracking, delays in generating sales reports, risk of transaction recording errors, and lack of data to support managerial decision-making. To address these problems, this study designed and developed a web-based sales and inventory management information system using Node.js and Vue.js architecture. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method was applied to ensure an iterative development process with active user involvement. The system features include automated sales transaction recording, inventory management, supplier and cashier data management, as well as interactive dashboards for data visualization. Based on black-box testing results, all system features functioned correctly according to the test scenarios and were well received by users, as the system improved operational efficiency and data accuracy at Sri Jaya Keramik
