Abstract

Chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is a horticultural food crop that is needed in sufficient quantities to meet high demand. This study aims to determine the effect of plant types as sources of Biosaka elicitor materials and Biosaka elicitor concentrations on the growth and yield of chili peppers, as well as to determine the combination of types and concentrations of Biosaka elicitors on the growth and yield of chili peppers. The experience was factorial 2 factor arranged in randimized comfletely block design (RCBD) replicated 3 times. the first factor is the type of Biosaka (J) consisting of 5 types, J0 = without biosaka, J1 = babandotan, J2 = babandotan + pukul empat, J3 = babandotan + pukul empat + patikan kebo, J4 = babandotan + pukul empat + patikan kebo + menira, and J5 = babandotan + pukul empat + patikan kebo + meniran + anting-anting. The second factor is the concentration of Biosaka (K) consisting of 3 doses of administration, K0 = without biosaka, K1 = 1.5ml / L, K2 = 2.5ml / L, K3 = 3.5ml / L. The results showed that the composition of biosaka elicitor material had a significant effect on plant height parameters at the age of 21-63 DAT, stem diameter at the age of 28-63 DAT, number of leaves at the age of 21-63 DAT, number of fruits per plant at the 5th harvest, and weight of fruits per plant at the 1st and 5th harvests. The concentration of biosaka elicitor had a significant effect on plant height at the age of 21 DAT and 42-56 DAT, number of leaves at the age of 49 and 56 DAT, number of fruits at the 4th and 5th harvests and number of fruits per plant at the 1st, 4th, and 5th harvests.
