Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence between the independent variables of education level, minimum wage, poverty level, foreign investment, and domestic investment on the dependent variable of open unemployment rate in Banten Province. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 22.0 software. Secondary data used from 2010-2024 sourced from the official website of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Banten Province. The results of the study show that the level of education had a significant negative effect on the open unemployment rate in Banten Province and the poverty rate variable had a significant positive effect on the open unemployment rate in Banten Province. Meanwhile, the minimum wage, foreign investment, and domestic investment variables have no significant effect on the open unemployment rate in Banten Province. The results of this study can be a consideration for local governments in contributing to formulating more effective and sustainable employment and economic development policies in Banten Province.
