Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of poverty, labor force, and investment on economic growth in the Gerbangkertosusila region. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis using Eviews 13 software, through a Fixed Effect Model (FEM) determined based on the Chow test and Hausman test. The secondary data used covers the period 2019–2024 and was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of East Java and the Investment and Integrated Services Agency . The results of the study indicate that poverty has a negative but insignificant effect on economic growth. The labor force has a positive but insignificant effect. Foreign Direct Investment also has a positive but insignificant effect. Meanwhile, Domestic Direct Investment has a significant effect on economic growth in the region. Simultaneously, the variables of poverty, labor force, foreign investment and domestic investment have a significant effect on economic growth. These findings confirm that domestic investment has a real contribution to regional economic growth, while poverty and the labor force require further examination in terms of quality and distribution. Keywords: Economic Growth, Poverty, Labor Force, Investment, Foreign Direct Investment, Domestic Investment
