Abstract

This study aims to determine, test, and prove the influence of financial literacy, financial technology, and utilitarian motivation on student financial management. The research method used is an explanatory method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects are Accounting students at UPN Veteran Jawa Timur from the 2021 and 2022 cohorts. From a total of 713 students, the sample was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 88 respondents. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a probability sampling approach. Primary data was collected through a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form. Variable measurement used a Likert scale, and data analysis was conducted using the PLS-SEM method with the SmartPLS 4.0. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy and financial technology have a positive and significant effect on students' financial management. Meanwhile, utilitarian motivation has a positive but insignificant effect on students' financial management. This suggests that although the direction of the effect is positive, utilitarian motivation does not have a significant impact on students' financial management.
