Abstract

Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) is a vegetable from the Cucurbitaceae family, originating from India and now found worldwide, including Indonesia. In Indonesia, cucumber is a popular vegetable among all segments of society because it can be consumed and used as a cosmetic ingredient and medicinal remedy. This study aims to determine the effect of gibberellin concentration and NPK fertilizer dosage on the growth and yield of cucumber plants. The research was conducted in Dasri Village, Tegalsari Subdistrict, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, from August to November 2024. The study employed a Split-Plot Design (SPD) with two treatment factors. The treatments used were gibberellin concentration as the main plot and NPK fertilizer dose as the subplot. The gibberellin concentration consisted of four levels: 0 ppm/plant, 100 ppm/plant, 200 ppm/plant, and 300 ppm/plant. The second factor was the NPK fertilizer dose, which was: 100 kg/ha, 400 kg/ha, 500 kg/ha, and 600 kg/ha. The results of the study showed that the combination of gibberellin concentration at 300 ppm/plant with NPK fertilizer dose at 600 kg/ha had an effect on plant height, stem diameter, and number of leaves.
