Abstract
PT Graha Rejeki Indonesia is a manufacturing company in Lamongan that produces arabica and robusta ground coffee, the company is facing bottlenecks in its ground coffee production due to an imbalance in machine capacity and cycle time. This causes a buildup of semi-finished goods that can reduce production efficiency and hinder the achievement of production targets. This study applies the Theory of Constraints (TOC) approach to redesign production planning through five steps. Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) calculations help in determining the work stations that become constraints, namely work stations 2 (roasting) and 4 (finishing). Suggestions for improvements that can be made are to increase working hours at both work stations from March 2024 to February 2025. The improvement has an impact on increasing the production of arabica ground coffee from 7,815kg up 7.42% to 8,395kg and robusta from 6,533kg up 19.69% to 7,819kg. The improvement also had an impact on increasing the amount of company profits from Rp.1,115,060,000 to Rp.1,227,326,000, and the percentage increase in profits increased by 9.2%. With these improvements proven effective in optimizing production capacity and increasing company profits.
