Abstract
The mass media industry is currently facing increasingly complex global challenges due to the rapid development of technology and the emergence of various digital platforms. These changes have not only transformed public information consumption patterns but also require media organizations, including television, to continuously adapt and improve the quality of their human resources. In this context, employee work engagement has become a crucial element in maintaining organizational productivity and sustainability. This study aims to examine the effect of perceived organizational support on work engagement through resilience among employees of PT Jawa Pos Media Televisi (JTV) Surabaya. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the relationships between variables. The research sample consisted of 92 employees selected using probability sampling with the simple random sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability to ensure accurate measurement. The results of the study indicate that perceived organizational support has a positive and significant effect on work engagement. Furthermore, resilience was found to mediate the relationship between perceived organizational support and work engagement, suggesting that perceived organizational support can enhance work engagement both directly and through improving individuals’ psychological resilience. These findings provide practical implications for media organization management in designing effective support strategies to strengthen employee engagement. Keywords: Perceived Organizational Support; Resilience; Work Engagement
