Abstract

Effective personal financial management is a crucial skill that every individual must possess to achieve long-term financial stability. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial technology, financial self-efficacy, self-control, and impulsive buying on personal financial management, particularly in spending and saving behavior. The study employed a simple random sampling method with a total of 100 undergraduate Accounting students from UPN Veteran East Java as respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS version 4.0. The results indicate that financial technology and financial self-efficacy have a positive but not significant influence on personal financial management. Self-control has a positive and significant influence, while impulsive buying has a negative but not significant effect. These findings suggest that psychological aspects, particularly self-control, play the most dominant role in shaping students' financial behavior. Meanwhile, the effects of technology, self-confidence, and impulsive behavior still require reinforcement through improved financial literacy, the development of healthy financial practices, and an environment that supports structured and sustainable financial management. Keywords: financial technology, financial self-efficacy, self-control, impulsive buying, financial managemen
