Abstract

This study examines the kinetics of dolomite (CaMg(CO₃)₂) extraction using phosphoric acid with a solid-liquid method. Dolomite was calcined at 850°C for 240 minutes, then ground and extracted with 2M phosphoric acid at various temperatures (30–90°C) and times (60–180 minutes). The extracted filtrate was analyzed using AAS to determine the calcium and magnesium content. The results showed that increasing temperature and reaction time enhanced conversion, with the highest values obtained at 90°C for 180 minutes: 65.67% for calcium and 65.98% for magnesium.
