Abstract

Surabaya's Ministry of Religious Affairs, as a government organization, contributes significantly to the improvement of human resource quality through the internship program. Based on interviews, there has been a significant change in the number of internship placement locations, resulting in an increase in participants to around 80 to 100 people per period. This change has added complexity to the management of internship participant data. To address this issue, this thesis aims to develop a web-based internship management information system using the Laravel and VueJS frameworks. The system development follows the waterfall method, consisting of the communication, planning, modeling, construction, and deployment stages. After the system development was completed, testing was carried out to ensure its functionality using the black box testing method, with a total of 136 test cases, all of which were successfully executed. The results of the development show that the web-based internship management information system can effectively support the management of internship participant data at Surabaya's Ministry of Religious Affairs.
