Abstract
The process of applying for an internship at the UPT Environmental Service of East Java Province is currently still using conventional methods, so that the application process runs ineffectively and there is a possibility of losing internship documents, and the submission and acceptance process does not run effectively. From the problems described in the previous sentence, this thesis provides a solution, namely by designing and building a website-based Si-Pegang Information System with a case study of the UPT Environmental Service of East Java Province so that the process of applying and managing internships runs effectively and efficiently. The development method for this system uses the waterfall method with reference to Sommerville's book. The testing stage uses the black box testing method which applies test cases as a testing method. This thesis produces a website-based Si-Pegang Information System at UPT Environmental Service of East Java Province which has five main features, namely: internship application, logbook, attendance, internship report, and print e-certificate.
