Abstract

Pencemaran air merupakan masalah lingkungan yang serius yang diakibatkan oleh aktivitas manusia, terutama di daerah perkotaan dan industri. Di perairan selat madura, kualitas air menjadi prihatin karena banyaknya pencemar seperti limbah domestik dan industri. Dalam rangka mengendalikan pencemaran air, pemodelan QUAL2Kw dan MIKE21 digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengidentifikasi sumber pencemaran utama, memprediksi perubahan kualitas air, dan menganalisa sebaran pencemaran. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kualitas air muara sungai Kalimas, terdapat parameter TSS, DO, dan COD yang masih melebihi baku mutu. Sedangkan untuk selat Madura terdapat parameter TSS yang masih melebihi baku mutu. Hasil perhitungan daya tampung beban pencemar menunjukkan bahwa pada parameter DO stasiun 4, dan 5 dan COD stasiun 1, 2, 4, dan 5 telah melebihi daya tampung beban pencemar maksimum. Analisis metode STORET juga menunjukkan tingkat pencemaran cemar sedang dengan skor sebesar -30, -20, -21, dan -21. Sebaran DO menuju ke arah timur laut dengan konsentrasi DO sebesar 9,5 mg/l pada saat pasang tertinggi dan pada saar surut terendah. Sebaran COD menuju arah barat daya dengan konsentrasi COD sebesar 100 mg/L pada saat pasang tertinggi, dan 115 mg/L pada saat surut terendah. Sebaran TSS menuhu arah barat daya dengan konsentrasi sebesar 80 mg/L saat pasang tertinggi, dan 70 mg/L pada saat surut terendah. Sebaran pH menuju arah barat dengan konsentrasi sebesar 8,98 saat pasang tertinggi, dan 8,88 saat surut terendah. Sebarah kelimpahan fitoplankton menuju arah barat dengan konsentrasi 3.000.000 sel/L saat pasang tertinggi dan surut terendah. Kata Kunci: Pencemaran air, Muara Sungai Kalimas, QUAL2Kw, MIKE 21, Kualitas air, Sebaran Pencemaran Water pollution is a serious environmental problem caused by human activities, especially in urban and industrial areas. In the waters of the Madura Strait, water quality is a concern due to the abundance of pollutants such as domestic and industrial waste. In order to control water pollution, QUAL2Kw and MIKE21 modeling are used as tools to identify major pollution sources, predict changes in water quality, and analyze the distribution of pollution. This study revealed that the water quality of the Kalimas estuary, there are TSS, DO, and COD parameters that still exceed the quality standards. As for the Madura Strait, there are TSS parameters that still exceed the quality standards. The results of the calculation of the pollutant load capacity show that the DO parameters at stations 4 and 5 and COD stations 1, 2, 4 and 5 have exceeded the maximum pollutant load capacity. The STORET method analysis also shows a moderate level of pollution with scores of -30, -20, -21, and -21. Distribution of DO towards the northeast with a DO concentration of 9.5 mg/l at the highest tide and at the lowest ebb. COD scattering towards the southwest with COD concentrations of 100 mg/L at the highest tide, and 115 mg/L at the lowest ebb. TSS scattering towards the southwest with a concentration of 80 mg/L at the highest tide, and 70 mg/L at the lowest ebb. The pH distribution is towards the west with a concentration of 8.98 at the highest tide, and 8.88 at the lowest ebb. The phytoplankton abundance distribution is towards the west with a concentration of 3,000,000 cells/L at the highest tide and lowest ebb.
