Abstract
The sunflower plant (Hellianthus annuus L.) is a plant belonging to the Asteraceae family which has high economic value because it has great potential in the industrial sector. The research was conducted from May to September 2024 in Dohoagung Village, Balongpanggang District, Gresik Regency. The research used a completely randomized factorial design (CRD) with 12 treatment combinations with three replications. The results showed that the combination of a paclobutrazol dose of 0.3 g/plant and an application time of 4 WAP gave the best results for plant height, stem diameter, flower emergence age and harvest age. A single treatment with a dose of paclobutrazol 0.3 g/plant gave the best results on plant height and stem diameter, while a dose of paclobutrazol 0.2 g/plant gave the best results in increasing yields including flower diameter, number of seeds, total seed weight and weight of 100 seeds. A single treatment application time of 4 WAP gave the best effect on the parameters of height, stem diameter and flower diameter of sunflower plants.
