Abstract
The study aims to optimize raw material control through the application of EOQ, which is a critical aspect in minimizing costs while ensuring sufficient inventory levels. The research outlines the background and necessity of implementing effective inventory management strategies in industrial settings, particularly in the railway manufacturing sector. It details the methodologies employed during the internship at PT INKA, where practical applications of theoretical knowledge were observed. The findings indicate that utilizing EOQ not only enhances operational efficiency but also contributes to significant cost savings in raw material procurement. In conclusion, this report emphasizes the importance of integrating academic knowledge with practical experience to foster improvements in production systems. It serves as a valuable resource for future studies and applications in industrial engineering and inventory management.
