Abstract
Community participation is needed for the sustainability of management in the Quality Family Village Program. The purpose of this study was to determine community participation in the Quality Family Village Program in Manyaran Village, Banyakan District, Kediri Regency. The focus of this research uses the theory of community participation by Cohen and Uphoff (1977) with four stages, namely participation in decision making, participation in the implementation of activities, participation in the utilization of results, and participation in the evaluation of activities. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method that has produced data in the form of written words and the results of observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) Participation in decision-making in the Quality Family Village Program in Manyaran Village has not been implemented in all forms of participation, especially during meeting activities, the community is less involved. 2) Participation in the implementation of Tribina KB Village activities has not been evenly implemented in all hamlets. 3) Participation in the utilization of results, the community obtained material benefits in the form of providing vitamin A, providing additional food and free milk for stunted and malnourished toddlers. Social benefits in the form of the establishment of Rumah Data Ku. As well as personal benefits, namely increasing knowledge about families of toddlers, adolescents, and the elderly. 4) Participation in the evaluation of Manyaran Village community activities has not participated thoroughly.
