Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of revocation of rights conditional release for correctional clients who commit criminal acts during the grace period, it is known that in 2023, there will be 78 (seventy eight) cases of client violations committed by correctional clients at the Balai Pemasyarakatan Class I in Surabaya during the parole period. Study This uses an empirical type of juridical research and uses two approach, case approach and regulatory approach legislation (Statute Approach). Through case studies at Balai Pemasyarakatan Class I in Surabaya, this research identified various obstacles faced in the revocation process, such as lack of coordination between institutions, limited resources, and weak supervision. This research also explains several solutions to overcome these obstacles, such as increasing officer capacity, improving information systems, and strengthening inter-institutional cooperation.
