Abstract
Poverty is a condition characterized by insufficiency to meet daily needs based on circumstances that are not based on the will of the person concerned. Poverty conditions can reduce the quality of human resources, resulting in reduced levels of productivity and low income generation. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of factors such as number population, unemployment, and education on poverty in the former Banyumas Residency Area from 2013 to 2022. This research uses quantitative research methods, namely processing data using Software E-Views10 in conducting panel data regression. The data used is secondary data sourced from the Agency's website Center Statistics. Based on the research results, Fixed Effect Model became the selected model. Together, population, unemployment and education influence poverty in the former Banyumas Residency area. The research results show that population has no effect on poverty, unemployment has a significant positive effect on poverty, and education has an effect on poverty.
