Abstract

The Decision Support System plays a crucial role in facilitating accurate decision-making, especially in education. At SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro, the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum provides students with the opportunity to choose subjects according to their talents and interests. However, students often experience difficulties in selecting the right major. Therefore, a decision support system using the Simple Additive Weighting and Weighted Product methods was developed as a solution. The research results show that the use of the Simple Additive Weighting and Weighted Product methods in a decision support system proved to be effective, with System Usability Scale test scores of 84.75 and 86. These scores indicate that the system is feasible for use. The system also improves teacher efficiency in providing more accurate and structured guidance. The decision support system developed at SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro facilitates the provision of student report card information and offers subject recommendations based on the students' talents and interests. Thus, the system has the potential to enhance the quality of student decisions and their academic performance.
