Abstract
Poverty is a problem of socio-economic conditions characterized by a lack of meeting basic needs. Indonesia still experiences poverty problems, especially in remote areas and among the informal sector workers. Poverty is influenced by several factors such as education, access to resources, financial management, wages and infrastructure development. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the open unemployment rate, human development index, and economic growth on poverty levels in the Regencies of East Sumba, Sabu Raijua, Central Sumba, and West Sumba in the period 2013-2022. This research uses secondary data obtained from the East Nusa Tenggara Central Statistics Agency website. This type of research is quantitative research using panel data regression via eviews12 software. The best model in this research is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of this research are that the open unemployment rate variable, human development index, and economic growth simultaneously influence the poverty level variable. Partially, the level of open unemployment has a significant positive effect on the poverty level, while the human development index and economic growth variables have no effect on the poverty level in the Regencies of East Sumba, Sabu Raijua, Central Sumba and West Sumba in 2013-2022.
