Abstract
Kebutuhan Maleic Anhydride di Indonesia kian meningkat seiring tahun, dapat dilihat dari data impor Maleic Anhydride. Maleic anhydride memiliki berbagai kegunaan penting dalam industri kimia. Salah satu aplikasi utamanya adalah dalam produksi resin poliester tak jenuh, yang digunakan dalam pembuatan fiberglass, bahan bangunan, dan komponen otomotif. Selain itu, maleic anhydride dapat menjadi fumaric acid. Dalam industri polimer, maleic anhydride berfungsi sebagai agen penghubung untuk meningkatkan sifat mekanik polimer. Lebih lanjut, maleic anhydride digunakan dalam produksi berbagai bahan kimia lainnya, termasuk pestisida, herbisida, dan fungisida. Pabrik maleic anhydride menggunakan sistem organisasi staff and line dengan ROI (sebelum pajak) 21,5% dan 16,1% (setelah pajak), dan BEP sebesar 32,15%
