Abstract

Magetan Regency is lagging behind in the transportation sector compared to other regions in Indonesia, which creates various obstacles for residents. The lack of connectivity between regions to public transportation modes in Magetan Regency hinders residents from moving around. One of the problems faced is the absence of connecting transportation between transportation nodes between Magetan Station and Maospati Terminal, which causes residents to have difficulty continuing their journey between the two transportation nodes. To overcome this problem, a solution is needed by planning a mode-integrating transportation (feeder) that serves the Magetan Station - Maospati Terminal route or vice versa. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing stated preference questionnaires to respondents at Magetan Station and Maospati Terminal, as well as conducting surveys along the Magetan Station - Maospati Terminal route. This study is guided by the Decree of the Directorate General of Land Transportation 1996 to determine the planned stopping point (shelter) and the Decree of the Directorate General of Land Transportation 2002 to determine the planned transportation fleet needs. From the analysis of the feeder transportation planning for the Magetan Station – Maospati Terminal route, it is known that the vehicle to be used is the Suzuki New Carry Minibus with a capacity of 12 seats. There are 14 planned stopping points spread along the route. The travel circulation time is 46.4 minutes with a load factor of 66.67%. The time between vehicles (headway) from Magetan Station to Maospati Terminal is 5.78 minutes, while from Maospati Terminal to Magetan Station is 5.16 minutes. To meet the planned transportation needs, a fleet of 20 vehicles is needed with a departure frequency of 6 vehicles per hour. The average vehicle waiting time is 5.47 minutes, with a maximum vehicle waiting time of 10.94 minutes, and an average travel speed of 30 km/hour.
