Abstract
Indonesia is known to have many types of livestock and natural resources, one of which is goats. Senduro District is one of the areas in the Lumajang region which is a center for superior goat farming, namely Senduro etawa goats (dual-purpose) which produce meat and milk. The number of goat populations in Lumajang each year tends to be stagnant or there is no change, while the demand for goats continues to increase every year, therefore it is necessary to carry out a financial feasibility analysis and development strategy for the Etawa Senduro goat farming business. This livestock business has never had a financial feasibility analysis carried out, and has rarely made development efforts. If these two things are done, it will be possible to know the level of feasibility of the business being run and what strategies need to be developed. The aim of this research was to analyze the feasibility of the Etawa Senduro goat farming business to find out whether the business being run is profitable or not and to find out what strategies need to be developed so that the Etawa Senduro goat remains a leading livestock in Indonesia. The population in this study were 12 Etawa Senduro goat breeders. This research uses a financial service analysis method with assessment criteria, namely NPV, IRR, BEP and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for development strategies. The NPV results of the Etawa Senduro goat farming business located in Lumajang Regency, especially in Kandang Tepus Village, show that the business is feasible to run, because it produces an NPV of more than 0. The IRR results of the Etawa Senduro goat farming business in Kandang Tepus Village, Senduro District are also declared feasible. carried out because the IRR results exceed the loan interest. The BEP for the Senduro etawa goat farming business was also declared feasible or profitable because the average unit BEP and price BEP for this business exceeded the break-even point, and for the strategy for developing the Senduro etawa goat farming business in Kandang Tepus Village, it can be concluded that the most influential criteria are input, and the priority alternative is alternative feed.
