Abstract
H-5,6 Purification is the final stage of the MSG production process with the stages of neutralization, decolorization II, separation II and drying. The purification process is the last process of making MSG before it is packaged and marketed. The purification process aims to remove impurities from Monosodium Glutamate (MSG). In the implementation of Field Work Practice at PT Ajinomoto Indonesia, Mojokerto Factory, the author aims to evaluate the performance efficiency of the Falling Film Evaporator in the Purification Process. This evaluation process aims to enable Section H 5,6 to determine the performance of the Falling Film Evaporator so as to obtain more efficient performance.
