Abstract

PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk – Ngoro Food Division is a company that manages various types of processed food. This company is located in Ngoro Persada Industrial Block U no. 11-12, Lolawang, Ngoro District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java. This company has 2 areas, namely the slaughterhouse area and the production area. PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk – Ngoro Food Division is in the stage of improving occupational safety and health using the HIRARC method with the aim of minimizing the risk of work accidents occurring in the company area. Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) is a series of hazard identification processes then carried out risk assessment and hazard control in order to minimize the risk of work accidents. HIRARC has several methods, namely hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control. The HIRARC method is supported by data obtained from observations, interviews and company data. Activities that have a dangerous level of risk must be immediately addressed by making risk controls. Risk control can be in the form of replacing tools, maintaining tools, providing sensors and imposing sanctions on workers who violate them. It is hoped that the HIRARC method can reduce the risk of work accidents at PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk – Food Division Ngoro.
