Abstract
The agricultural sector has a contribution to improving community welfare and food security, both at the regional and national levels. Thus, the agricultural sector is one of the strategic sectors in regional development and should be maximized well. This research aims to analyze the influence of the human development index, agricultural sector workforce, and rice harvest area on the gross regional domestic product of the agricultural sector in Lamongan Regency, Jember Regency, Ngawi Regency, and Banyuwangi Regency in the 2011-2022 time period. The research uses secondary data in the form of time series (annual) originating from BPS East Java Province, Lamongan Regency, Jember Regency, Ngawi Regency, and Banyuwangi Regency. This research uses quantitative methods with linear regression analysis of panel data and uses the best model, namely the fixed effect model (FEM) with Eviews (Econometrics Views) version 12 econometric program tools. The results of the research show that jointly the human development index, agricultural sector workforce, rice harvest area has a positive effect on GRDP agricultural sector. Meanwhile, partially the human development index has a positive effect on agricultural sector GRDP, while agricultural sector labor and rice harvested area have no effect on agricultural sector GRDP in Lamongan Regency, Jember Regency, Ngawi Regency, and Banyuwangi Regency.
