Abstract
This study discusses the influence of the level of dependency of regional governments, local own-source revenue, and capital expenditure on the financial performance of District/City governments in East Java Province. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained through the Budget Revenue and Expenditure Portal (APBD) from the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance and the Financial Statements of District/City Governments in East Java Province from the East Java Provincial BPK. The sample used in this study amounted to 35, obtained through purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software version 26. The results of this study indicate that collectively, regional government dependency, local own-source revenue, and capital expenditure have an influence on the financial performance of regional governments. Meanwhile, partially, the level of dependency has a negative influence, while local own-source revenue has a positive influence, and capital expenditure does not affect the financial performance of regional governments.
