Abstract
The worrying level of education quality in Indonesia is a serious challenge that requires a comprehensive solution. Malang City, known as the City of Education, has a role in overcoming national education problems. Although efforts have been made to provide educational facilities such as libraries, the public's low interest in visiting them is a major concern. This design object aims to offer increased facilities and integration of additional elements in the library, using a Hybrid Architecture approach. The Hybrid Architecture concept was chosen to present innovative solutions in improving activity concepts that can increase the attractiveness of libraries and encourage community participation in activities to improve the quality of education. The results of the design with the Hybrid Architecture concept aim to provide a library that provides and supports better activities, compared to the old pattern of libraries in general which only had one purpose to read in the room provided. This design not only improves quality by providing facilities that support user activities, but also strengthens its reputation as a progressive education center and has a positive impact at the national level.
