Abstract
Indonesia is an archipelago with a population of 2,199,164 people with 93.3% of them being Muslim. Islamic education appears in various institutions that exist in almost all cities in Indonesia, one of them is boarding school. Currently in Bogor City there are not many Modern Islamic boarding schools that prioritize religious knowledge but with a modern with modernity in systems, methods, and physical buildings. Modern Islamic boarding school This modern boarding school will be established on a footprint in the form of vacant land in the Pakuan Regency housing area. After some analysis of the the site and observing the behavior of students, a concept plan is produced design concept of a modern boarding school using a behavioral architecture approach. behavioral architecture approach. The site is located in a tropical rainforest climate area where the rainfall is quite high throughout the year so it is necessary to do special treatment on the building. special treatment on the building. The modern boarding school will consist of several masses in one site where the female santri area is made separate from the male santri for the sake of comfort of greeting.
