Abstract
ABSTRACT Development of the Bernah De Vallei Tourist Attraction as an Effort to Empower the Kembangbelor Village Community Kembangbelor Village has been designated as one of the model tourist villages in Mojokerto Regency so that researchers are interested in finding out how community empowerment the people of Kembangbelor Village can be from the existence of the Bernah De Vallei tourist attraction. In the focus of the research, researchers used used 4 aspects of the scope of empowerment, namely: Human Development, Business Development, Environmental Development and Institutional Development. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach because this research aims to determine community empowerment through the development of the Bernah De Vallei tourist attraction, Kembangbelor Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto, where researchers describe phenomena in depth and comprehensively so that the data analyzed is in descriptive form. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Primary data is through informants from the Head of BUMDES and the Head of Karang Taruna as well as field notes. The results of the research show that empowerment through human development, business development, environmental development and institutional development efforts has been successful but still addresses several challenges in human development and environmental development efforts such as variations in the level of understanding among managers and the challenge of visitors lacking cleanliness.
