Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant economic impact around the world. This impact covers various aspects, including economic growth, with one of them being the retail industry. The source of high economic income comes from metropolitan cities or megapolitan agglomeration areas because of the high complexity that occurs in these areas. Lamongan Regency is one of the areas included in the economic growth plan of the kertosusila gate which is an advantage for Lamongan Regency in receiving local revenue. Shopping centers in Lamongan are dominated by traditional shopping which is the center of money circulation in Lamongan. The post-pandemic era is a new beginning for the offline retail industry to bend and develop new ideas to survive in the era of changing consumer behavior. Customers want more than just a place to shop, customers are looking for a wider life experience. Lamongan eco shopping center is designed to be able to adapt to the trend of society in the post-pandemic era by providing interaction between living things and nature. Visitors can recreation and social activities with the natural nuances presented so that they can attract visitors and improve the regional economy. The increase in economic and social activities of the community in Lamongan district has an impact on increasing the level of environmental pollution. By using an ecological architecture approach that pays attention to the impact of buildings on the surrounding environment as a form of interaction between living things and nature. The principles of architectural ecology are applied as a method in every concept of designing mass order, shape, appearance, interior space, outdoor space, and building system. With the design of the Lamongan eco shopping center , it is hoped that it can provide awareness of environmental issues as a response to sustainable buildings. Facilities in the shopping center not only present basic shopping needs but also provide recreational facilities that are connected to nature.
