Abstract
Sidoarjo district, with the highest unemployment rate in eastern Java, has been highlighted as having the potential to hinder the region's progress. The study aims to determine the impact of economic growth, industrial volume, and education on the open unemployment rate in Sidoarjo District during 2011–2023. This is a quantitative study with secondary and time series data from BPS East Java and Sidoarjo district analysed using double linear regression on IBM SPSS Statistic 25 software. The findings of the study show that economic growth has a significant impact on the open unemployment rate, while industry and education are not significantly influenced by the unemployment rate in the district.
