Abstract

Economic growth is one of the indicators of success in the development of a region. The parameter of economic growth can be seen from the growth of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) per capita. DIY Province, which is one of several provinces in Indonesia, has been designated as a National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) by the Ministry of Tourism. As one of the tourist destinations, Yogyakarta Special Region Province (DIY) certainly has relatively high economic productivity. This must be supported by the availability of adequate infrastructure. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of road, electricity and water infrastructure development on economic growth in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Province in the 2012-2022 period. Data that have been obtained from several sources are then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study stated that the development of road and electricity infrastructure in DIY province had a significant effect on the rate of economic growth. Meanwhile, the development of clean water infrastructure does not have a significant impact on economic growth in DIY provinces.
