Abstract
One of the efforts made by the central government to accelerate national economic development at the regional level is by providing regional autonomy authority, including at the lowest level, namely villages. In addition, the Indonesian government is committed to realizing equitable and sustainable development, in accordance with SDGs 2030 with the Nawacita program "Developing Indonesia from the periphery by strengthening regions and villages" through transfer spending to regions and village funds which are used to finance the implementation of village government and empowerment public. This research aims to determine the effect of village funds, village fund allocation, village original income in increasing the village development index in Kauman District, Ngantru District, and Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with secondary data, namely data obtained from the websites of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration and the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Tulungagung Regency. The data analysis technique uses panel data regression, namely a time series for 2019-2022 with cross-section data (13 villages in Kauman District, 13 villages in Ngantru District, and 18 villages in Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency). The results of this research show that there is an influence of village funds, village fund allocations, and village original income on the village development index in Kauman District, Ngantru District, and Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency. When viewed partially, village funds and village original income have a significant positive effect on the village development index. Meanwhile, the village fund allocation did not have a significant effect on the village development index in Kauman District, Ngantru District, and Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency.
