Abstract
The research aims to find out the influence of financial literacy, risk tolerance, and overconfidence on cryptocurrency investment decisions on generation z in surabaya. The independent variables in this study include financial literacy, risk tolerance, and overconfidence as well as investment decisions as dependent variables. The population in this study is a representative of generation z, which is the 2020 PTN accounting students with superior accredited accountants in surabaya who invest in cyptocurrency. Sampling techniques using simple random sampling are used in collecting data based on certain criteria. This research uses quantitative methods using primary data through the dissemination of questionnaires with the googleform platform. Data analysis on this study using the Software WarPLS Version 8.0. The results of this study show that the higher the level of financial literacy investors have, the better the investment decisions of cryptocurrencies, the higher risk tolerance tends to be more daring to take risks and invest in risky assets such as cryptocurrency. It is also supported by the technological sophistication dominated by the generation z
